Dan McGinn

Dan McGinn

Dan McGinn has quietly studied passion all of his life. He is founder and CEO of McGinn and Company, and for more than a quarter century has guided corporations, universities, government agencies, law firms and individuals through some of the most complicated and challenging crises of our time. He has been retained by more than a third of the Fortune 100 and counseled hundreds of CEOs, elected officials, University Presidents and prominent individuals.

Along the way, he has developed a unique understanding and appreciation of the power of passion, how it creates massive shifts in society and how it affects us in countless ways we rarely think about. Dan also has numerous passions of his own from history to baseball to cars to country music. Dan and his wife Debby live in Arlington, Va with their beloved King Charles Spaniel, Gracie.

Gracie Dog McGinn

Gracie Dog McGinn

Senior Passion Consultant

Since the purpose of Passions in America is to study how people spend their free time and free money, Gracie is the ideal consulting partner. The money part of the equation isn’t so important to her, but when it comes to free time, she is in a class by herself. With more than 9 dog years of high level consulting, Gracie knows her way around a conference call (she usually sleeps) and a PowerPoint Presentation (she always sleeps). Gracie and her sister, the late Emma Dog McGinn, were trend setters in bringing the “power of positive pooches” to the work setting. Her principal responsibility in this new venture will be to serve as a role model by enjoying her passions.

Westley Charles Posnanski

Junior passion consultant

Westley is relatively new to consulting, though he has spent many of his 5 dog years offering sage advice about what clients should do with French fries and half-eaten sandwiches. Westley has worked closely with such major companies as UPS, Fed Ex, and the United States Postal Service, particularly when they happen to come to the front door to deliver a package. His passions include sleeping, being chased and sleeping, and he has spent much of his young life lobbying for the banning of fireworks and thunder and other things that go bump in the night.
